PRACTICAL INFO

Location

Mustique, steeped in history and surrounded by intrigue, lies in the stream of islands of St Vincent and the Grenadines just a hundred miles west of Barbados. The islands’ gentle year round climate and natural beauty of rocky headlands, dramatic hilltops and pristine palm fringed beaches, combined with the most exclusive collection of villas anywhere in the world, make Mustique a truly unique private idyll. Mile upon white sandy mile of pristine private beach, and warm turquoise waters combine to make Mustique a supremely private and blissful haven for anyone looking for the perfect holiday destination.

Accomodation

There are 75 villas in The Villa Collection, each home unique in design and interior, reflecting the style and taste of its owner. Architectural styles have evolved over the years from the more classical plantation style houses typical of the founding designer Oliver Messel, to award winning contemporary eco-design. House sizes range from the more intimate two bedroom cottages, suitable for honeymoons, couples travelling alone or small families through to the 8-10 bedroom private estates which offer separate guest accommodation, private pools, tennis courts, gyms and media rooms, and even your own putting green! The colonial style Cotton House, formerly the old cotton warehouse has always been the island’s social hub where owners and visitors mingle and entertain. Today, the laid back island atmosphere is coupled with the services and facilities of a world class boutique hotel.

Services

Try the extreme sports of kite-surfing or deep sea diving and fishing, or take a more gentle approach, with a gentle snorkel in the many hidden coves around the island followed by a nurturing spa treatment. Children are indulged with a host of fun activities, with water sports galore, drive in cinemas for golf buggies, tennis, pony camp, beach picnics and treasure hunts, kite flying competitions and children’s menus everywhere. The Cotton House Spa has four treatment rooms, and a relaxation room with stunning sea views and a specialist beauty salon offering a range of holistic and beauty treatments. A well equipped gym is available to all guests staying on the island and there is a resident fitness instructor who runs a range of daily classes, and a yoga instructor who can organize the increasingly popular sunrise or sunset beach yoga.
