Reservations, Deposits & Final Payments
A deposit is required to secure a reservation. Any deposits from you are
non-refundable. Payment of a deposit enables us to hold a reservation for you
but does not guarantee the price. The price can only be guaranteed once we
receive full payment and other travel documents have been issued, subject to any
terms and conditions of the Supplier. All balances are due 60 days prior to
departure, unless otherwise stated. Some airfares or services must be paid in
full at the time of booking. If payment is not received by the due date, airline
and all other reservations will be cancelled. Connoisseur’s World is not
responsible for any penalties, fare increases or fees incurred due to late
payment. Submission of payment to Connoisseur’s World signifies the acceptance
of the Terms & Conditions of Sale.
Payment may be made by check, debit and credit cards from American
Express, Visa, MasterCard, Diners Club, Discover Card. Connoisseur’s
World only accepts checks made payable to Connoisseur’s World. All
returned checks are subject to a $35 service charge.
CREDIT CARDS
You represent and warrant that any credit card information that you submit to us
is true, accurate and complete, and you agree to maintain its accuracy and
immediately notify us if any information is inaccurate. When you make a purchase
through Connoisseur’s World using a credit card, you authorize us to charge your
credit card at the time you make the purchase. For credit card payments-except
for flight only bookings-we charge a fee of ______ the travel price, but no more
than ______ USD.
We may use a third party credit card processing company to process and charge
your credit card and by providing us your credit card information, you acknowledge
that we may share such information with the third party credit card processing
company for billing purposes. You are solely responsible for any and all fees
charged to your credit card by the card issuer, bank or financial institution,
including, without limitation any credit card membership, overdraft or
over-the-credit-limit fees. Some banks and credit card companies impose fees for
international transactions. If you are making a booking from outside of the
United States on a US credit card, your bank may convert the payment amount to
your local currency and charge you a conversion fee.
If for any reason, any travel service provider is unable to provide the services
for which you have contracted, your remedy lies against the provider, and not
against Connoisseur’s World dba www.connoisseurs.me, and in the event that
payment has been made to Connoisseur’s World by credit card, you agree that you
will not seek to charge back your payment to Connoisseur’s World . If
Connoisseur’s World incurs any costs, including but not limited to attorneys’
fees, to recover any payments charged back by your credit card company, you
agree that you will be liable for these costs. If the credit card is declined,
you guarantee that you will settle any amounts owing to Connoisseur’s World via
money order or cash immediately.
TERMS OF PURCHASE
Please note that separate terms and conditions dictated by the applicable
supplier may (will) apply to your reservation and purchase of products and
services. You agree to abide by such terms and conditions, including payment of
all amounts when due and compliance with the applicable supplier's policies,
rules and restrictions regarding availability and use of fares, products and
services. You understand that any violation of any such supplier's terms,
conditions, policies, rules or restrictions may result in (a) your forfeiting
any monies paid for such reservation or purchase, (b) cancellation of your
reservation or purchase, (c) your being denied access to any flights, hotels or
other products or services, and (d) Connoisseur’s World . debiting your account
for any costs Connoisseur’s World. incurs as a result of such violation. You
acknowledge that you will be responsible for all charges, fees, duties, taxes
and assessments arising out of your purchase of the travel products from
Connoisseur’s World.
SERVICE & PRICE CHANGES
Prices are subject to increase prior to the time you make full payment. Prices
are not subject to increase after you make full payment, except for charges
resulting from increases in government-imposed taxes or fees. As noted above, by
making the booking, you expressly acknowledge your acceptance of these conditions
(i.e. increases before full payment and increases attributable to
government-imposed taxes, fees or carrier imposed surcharges after full payment
will be your responsibility) applicable to your purchase.
Additional taxes and surcharges (including carrier imposed surcharges) that
cannot be pre-collected may be charged locally by car rental agencies, hotels or
other.
Change fees do not constitute an increase in the price of an already purchased
ticket, as technically the consumer is purchasing a new ticket for new travel.
TRAVEL DOCUMENTS
Travel documents including, without limitation, airline tickets, hotel vouchers,
tour vouchers or any other document (whether in electronic form or otherwise)
used to confirm an arrangement with a service provider. Travel documents may be
subject to certain conditions and/or restrictions such as, but not limited to,
being nonrefundable, non-date-changeable, and subject to cancellation and/or
amendment fees. Travel documents cannot be transferred to another person to use.
All airline tickets must be issued in the name of the passport/photo identity
holder. An incorrect name on a booking may result in an inability to use that
booking and the booking being cancelled. Any errors in names, dates and timings
may result in an inability to use that booking and the booking being cancelled.
Any errors in names, dates and timings on your documentation will be your
responsibility if not advised at the time of booking.
As soon as you receive your booked itinerary, check it thoroughly to make sure it
is correct as to dates, times, fares and rates. We are not responsible for losses
and inconveniences arising from your failure to check your itinerary. If your
flight is delayed for any reason, the airlines are not required by law to pay for
your en route expenses, such as meals, hotels, taxes and phone calls. Airlines
sometimes make changes to flight schedules; we recommend you re-check exact flight
times prior to departure and prior to your return
CANCELATION BY US OR THE SUPPLIERS
Special features offered by hotels are subject to change at the hotel's
discretion. In the unlikely event that a major change involving a pre-departure
change of hotel, departure or return date, departure city or destination becomes
necessary, we will notify you as soon as possible via the contact information in
the booking. If you find the revised arrangements we offer unacceptable, you will
have the option of cancellation without charge provided that you notify us within
seven days of your receipt of notice of the change (or prior to departure date if
notified less than seven days prior). In the event of a change, we will try to
substitute comparable services, but in the event of complete cancellation by us
or a supplier, or if landing rights are denied by a foreign government, the flight
will be cancelled with a full refund.
CANCELATION & CHANGES PRIOR TO DEPARTURE
Please be aware that most travel bookings are non-refundable and cancelled
bookings will incur charges. These charges can be up to 100% of the cost of the
booking, regardless of whether travel has commenced. In addition to the
cancellation terms and conditions of your Supplier(s), our standard fees will
apply as may be outlined on your receipt or booking confirmation. Generally
flight tickets cannot be refunded if they are partially used. If the reason for
your cancellation is covered under the terms of your travel insurance policy,
you may be able to reclaim your cancellation charges through your insurer.
Please note that all reservation changes are subject to availability and the
terms and conditions of your supplier.Changes to the travel date, the destination
, the place of departure, accommodation or type of transportation usually are
charged by the Supplier as for a cancellation. Changes to name details are not
allowed by many airlines and other Suppliers. While we will endeavor make such a
change if necessary, please bear in mind that most airlines and Suppliers treat
a name change as a cancellation, to which standard conditions and charges would
apply.
Flights must be taken in the sequence they appear on your ticket or eticket
confirmation. If you plan not to take a flight as booked, please contact the
airline as far in advance as possible to discuss your options. If you do not
check in on time for a confirmed reservation, the airline may register you as a
‘no-show’, which could result in extra charges and/or your whole flight itinerary
being cancelled and/or render your ticket void.
NO-SHOWS
Failure to travel without prior notification is considered a no-show and the
entire cost of reservation is non-refundable, subject to policies and procedures
of the providers of travel and accommodations.
REFUNDS FOR UNUSED SERVICES
Unused hotel nights are refundable only to the extent that we receive a refund
from the hotels, after cancellation charges are levied by the hotel, if any.
Unused transfers and/or sightseeing tours included in the basic tours will only
be refunded to the extent that we receive a refund from the supplier. To get a
prompt refund for unused services, clients must submit to us evidence from the
hotel or other operator that services were unused and are refundable. A copy of
the checkout bill will help to expedite the processing of any refund due, if
applicable. If no proof is furnished, a refund may be made pending an
investigation, which may take up to three months. TO BE ACCEPTED, ALL REFUND
CLAIMS MUST BE PRESENTED NO LATER THAN 30 DAYS AFTER THE TRIP HAS ENDED. All
refund claims must be submitted in writing to: Connoisseur’s World, 429 Lenox
Ave, Miami Beach, FL Attn: REFUNDS. Connoisseur’s World cannot accept faxed
refund requests. No refund or adjustment will be made for any changes,
cancellations or modifications of services provided in this itinerary, if such
changes are made by the tour participant during the tour.
COMPLAINTS
If you have a problem during your holiday, please inform the relevant Supplier
(e.g. your hotel) immediately. Should they be unable to resolve the matter,
please immediately contact us in the United States through www.connoisseurs.me
If you fail to timely contact us, we will not be permitted the opportunity to
investigate your complaint and attempt to rectify any error while you are away,
and this may affect your rights under this Agreement.
If you do not claim individual travel services that have been properly offered
to you, due to premature return or for other compelling reasons, you are not
entitled to a partial refund of the price. However, we will make our best efforts
by the service providers for reimbursement of expenses saved. This obligation
does not apply in cases of completely insignificant services.
LIABILITY STATEMENT
Connoisseur’s World and its employees, affiliates, officers, directors, successors,
agents, and assigns do not own or operate any entity which provides goods and
services for your travel including without limitation, lodging facilities, airline,
vessel, motor coach, or other transportation companies, guides or guide services,
local ground operators, providers or organizers of optional excursions, food
service providers, etc. All such persons and entities are independent contractors
and are in no way affiliated to Connoisseur’s World. Connoisseur’s World is not
liable for any negligent or willful act or failure to act of any travel service
provider or of any third party. Connoisseur’s World is not responsible for any
injury, loss, death, inconvenience, delay, or damage to person or property in
connection with the provision of any goods or services whether resulting from,
but not limited to, acts of God or force majeure, illness, disease, acts of war
or civil unrest, insurrection or revolt, animals, strikes or other labor
activities, criminal or terrorist activities of any kind, overbooking or
downgrading of accommodations, mechanical or other failure of airplanes or other
means of transportation, or for any failure of any transportation mechanism to
arrive or depart on time. If due to weather, flight schedules or other
uncontrollable factors you are required to spend additional night(s), you will be
responsible for your own hotel, transfers and meal costs. Baggage is entirely at
owner’s risk. You may see the name Connoisseur’s World affixed to motor vehicles,
on signs around the hotel or elsewhere. This use of our name is purely for
reasons of identification and does not denote ownership, supervision, or control
by Connoisseur’s World in any way. Under circumstances where liability cannot be
excluded, such liability is limited to the value of the purchased travel
arrangements. You specifically agree that Connoisseur’s World is not liable for
any consequential loss or damage.
You assume full and complete responsibility for checking and verifying any and
all passport, visa, vaccination, or other entry requirements of your
destination(s), and all conditions regarding health, safety, security, political
stability, and labor or civil unrest at such destination(s). You hereby release
Connoisseur’s World from all claims arising out of any problem covered in this
paragraph. Accordingly, you agree that any disputes arising out of this contract
must be brought in Miami Dade County, Florida, and that any action taken outside
of Miami Dade County, Florida shall not be enforceable against Connoisseur’s
World in Florida or in any other state.
HEALTH & SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS
It is your responsibility to ensure you are aware of any health requirements for
your travel destinations and to ensure that you carry all necessary vaccination
documentation. Please advise your consultant of any special requirements you may
have, for example, special meals, medical requirements and so on.
PHYSICAL DISABILITIES
Customers requiring special facilities, services or accommodations must disclose
such needs to Connoisseur’s World at time of reservation. Wheelchair-accessible
transportation and accommodations may be requested, but cannot be guaranteed.
Available accommodation standards vary by airline, hotel/cruise ship and are not
within the control of Connoisseur’s World. Your foreign destination may not
conform to the United States' Americans with Disabilities Act requirements, and
facilities for disabled persons may be extremely limited. Connoisseur’s World
assumes no liability for the failure for the provision of accommodations by a
travel vendor. Peanut Allergies: Airlines cannot guarantee nut-free flights and
customers are encouraged to review all health concerns with their physicians
prior to flying.
AIR TRANSPORTATION & INTERNATIONAL FLIGHTS
Connoisseur’s World has no control over and assumes no liability for airline
strikes, schedule changes, flight delays, flight cancellations or other airline
initiated changes. In the event of such an occurrence, the airline is responsible
and will determine what action will be taken. Notice on Aircraft Cabin Insecticide
Treatment: Some countries may require aircraft cabin insecticide treatment for
in-bound foreign flights. A list of such countries is available at:

PASSPORT, VISA &IMMIGRATION REQUERMENTS
It is the customer’s responsibility to verify current entry requirements and
obtain the necessary travel documentation based on the country of origin,
destination and any countries in which a stop is scheduled. An entry visa and
passport may be required. It is the customer's responsibility to verify that a
passport is valid at the time of departure, remains valid for a minimum of six
months beyond the return travel date, and contains sufficient BLANK pages to
attach any required visas for their travel. At least one person occupying a room
must be 18 years or older to check into a hotel or other accommodations. Please
verify the most current documentation and entry requirements with the country's
consulate, an immigration office or at www.travel.state.gov. No refund will be
issued for losses incurred as a result of failure to obtain or provide required
valid documentation.
REFUSAL OF SERVICES
Service providers reserve the right to refuse service to travelers at their sole
discretion and including without limitation if the traveler:
- Lacks proper documentation for the country of destination;
- Has a contagious disease;
- Is under the influence of alcohol, drugs or narcotics; and/or
- Manifests disruptive and/or unruly behavior.
Connoisseur’s World assumes no liability for the acts of the service provider in
refusing service.

JURISDICTION
You agree that any disputes arising out of this contract must be brought in Miami
Dade County, Florida, and that any action taken outside of Miami Dade County,
Florida shall not be enforceable against Connoisseur’s World in Florida or in any
other state.
