The Resort is a 25-minute speedboat ride from Malé International Airport on the island of Hulhule. Guests are greeted by Four Seasons representatives and escorted to a waiting speedboat, which is the only way to arrive at the Resort.
There are 106 ocean-facing thatched Beach Bungalows, some with garden showers or private plunge pools. Each have high ceilings, terracotta tiled floors and well-appointed bathrooms. Water Bungalows and the Navaranna Water Villa are built on stilts with direct access to the lagoon. The larger Kuda Huraa Beach Villa is a delightful two-bedroom suite, ideal for families. All bungalows and villas have air-conditioning, ceiling fan, TV, mini-bar, tea/coffee making facilities, bathroom and furnished terrace or sun deck. A CD/DVD player is also available.
Iinfinity-edge freshwater swimming pool and half-metre children’s pool ensure that the whole family can easily cool off. Learn to appreciate to majesty of the coral reefs and, if you like, participate in some of the Resort's many conservation projects. Choose from a wide variety of short, half-day and full-day guided activities, from island-hopping by seaplane to a traditional Baraabaru cooking class.
From November to April
Take a walk along the western side of the island during the few hours before sunset and spot baby black tip reef sharks in the shallows. For a chance to see an adult black tip, take the shark safari and enjoy an exciting snorkelling excursion off Baros Reef where you snorkel along the drop off, home to colourful tropical fish, turtles and of course, black tip reef sharks.
