OVERVIEW

The Dolder Grand is a city resort that beautifully merges past and future. Perched above Zurich, the fairy tale-like castle building first served as a “Curhaus” (a health spa), during the late-19th century. Today, it honors this history with a state-of-the-art, 4,000-square-meter spa, which is housed in one of the new wings designed by Lord Norman Foster.

Location

The Dolder Grand is situated in an elevated location between pulsating city and invigorating nature. By car it is only a short journey to the city centre and only 20 minutes away from Zurich Airport. A Hotel shuttle bus service runs regularly during the day, taking guests to the city centre free of charge.

Accomodation

The interiors in the Main Building create a sense of history through their eclectic and subtle combinations. All rooms here are equipped with luxurious white-marble bathrooms with separate bath and shower areas. In the two newly built wings – the Spa Wing and the Golf Wing – the interior design and luxurious bathrooms of sand-coloured Jura limestone exude a modern zeitgeist. The floor-to-ceiling windows create a generous sense of space. All rooms come with a multifunctional remote control system as well as a flatscreen television with an integrated Bang & Olufsen CD and DVD player. Bathrooms are also equipped with a television.
