Welcome to the 19th-century fortress, a member of Design Hotels - Mamula Island, which stands proudly at the entrance of the UNESCO World Heritage Site known as Boka Bay.
Sitting at the entrance to the Bay of Kotor in Montenegro, Mamula island is in close proximity to the city of Herceg Novi and Dubrovnik in Croatia. The Tivat airport is 20km from the island. The Ćilipi airport near Dubrovnik (Croatia) is 30 km from the island. Transfers from land to the island will be organized with the hotel.
The 10 rooms, 16 junior suites, and 6 suites are full of light and intimacy, with every detail considered. There are four types of rooms to choose from Garden, Sea, Sky, and Panoramic. The most exclusive suite is the two-bedroom Sky suite. Located in the Spa Tower, this suite connects 2 bedrooms and has its own private jacuzzi which seats four. Every room features sweeping views of the Adriatic and surrounding coastline. All rooms have an intimate fireplace, custom-crafted furniture, and locally curated & bespoke artwork.
A holistic spa, a wellbeing program, and the culinary vision of French-Canadian chef Erica Archambault—of the Michelin-starred Parisian restaurant Septime— round out the property’s offerings. Under the theme "Quality is king, local is queen" operate all 3 restaurants and Pinea Bar. At Kamena, a fine dining restaurant, a six-course set menu is the perfect companion to your sunset overlooking the sea. A clear head & calm body are the goals of the holistic spa . There are three pools, an indoor gym and studios (with classes), and an outdoor gym and running track. You can fully experience island life with one of Mamula's creative workshops "Atelier" and "Studio".
