Situated in beautiful countryside, just three miles from Dunblane, Cromlix is set in 34 acres of secluded woodlands and garden grounds, with its own chapel and house loch. I takes 45 minutes approximately from Glasgow Airport and around 40 from Edinburgh.
The hotel boasts a Chez Roux restaurant, five suites and ten bedrooms, gate lodge accommodation, reception hall, two drawing rooms, conservatory, dining room, snooker and meeting rooms.It has 10-bedrooms and five suites, each of which is named after a great Scot, including Robert the Bruce, William Wallace, Robert Burns and even fellow sporting legends Sir Alex Ferguson and Sir Chris Hoy. Several of the suites feature hand-painted freestanding gold, silver and copper baths and the rooms’ 32in televisions screens are disguised as mirrors.
Dining at Cromlix is a culinary experience that need not be confined to the dining room. There are lots of luxurious spots within the hotel that can accommodate more intimate, private dining. Chez Roux restaurant, overseen by the legendary French chef Albert Roux and run by award-winning executive head chef Darin Campbell, is housed in the glass-walled conservatory overlooking the grounds and offers diners a ringside view of the chefs at work in the extensive open kitchen. Guests can also opt to dine in the small Study which seats up to 10, the first floor Snooker Room which can accommodate 20 and the Garden Room for parties up to 24.
