Enjoy the balance of your day at leisure before you are met and transferred to the airport in the evening to board your onward flight.
You arrive in Brazil early today, whereupon you are met and transferred to your hotel. Known as the Cidade Maravilhosa (“Marvelous City”), Rio de Janeiro is a city of contrasts, of color, lifestyles, and dazzling scenery.
Today, enjoy a half day historical tour of Rio. After your tour, you are returned to your hotel. Enjoy the rest of your day exploring Rio at your own pace or enjoying the various amenities at your hotel.
This morning’s sightseeing starts as you travel to Corcovado (“Hunchback”) Mountain, where at a height of over 2,300 feet, stands the statue of Christ the Redeemer, one of the world’s best known monuments. After a delicious lunch of local cuisine, you continue on to Sugar Loaf. After your full day of sightseeing, you are returned to your accommodations.
