Location

Shebara Resort sits on Sheybarah Island in the Red Sea, approximately 500 km north of Jeddah, between the Saudi coastal towns of AlWajh and Umluj. The destination is served by the dedicated Red Sea International Airport, with connections from major Saudi cities and international hubs, making it more accessible than its remote, otherworldly setting might suggest.

Accommodation

Shebara offers overwater and beachfront villas, each with a private infinity pool, king bed, bathtub and outdoor terrace. The One Bedroom Overwater Villa (188 sqm) and One Bedroom Beach Villa (248 sqm) are designed for two, while two-bedroom versions of both accommodate families of four. For groups seeking exclusivity, the Beachfront Crown Villas Ensemble occupies a private islet and can be reserved in full, with configurations up to three bedrooms (692 sqm). The pinnacle is the Beachfront Royal Villas Ensemble — a four-bedroom estate of 900 sqm with a private yacht dock, bookable by enquiry only.

Services

Dining at Shebara spans four distinct restaurants: iki.roe for modern Nikkei cuisine with an Omakase journey and robata grill; Ariamare, a Mediterranean restaurant led by Michelin-starred chef Marco Garfagnini, celebrated for handmade pastas and fresh seafood; Lunara, the all-day brasserie serving international breakfasts and Levantine dinners; and SARIA, the family pool bar and grill with coastal views. The adults-only Solera bar rounds out the offering with inventive non-alcoholic elixirs. The spa features five treatment rooms, a couples' suite, outdoor cabana, sauna, steam room, jacuzzi and vitality pool, with signature treatments built around pearl, green caviar and meteorite extracts. Active guests can take advantage of the 24-hour fitness centre, yoga pavilion, padel and tennis courts, PADI diving, catamaran sailing, e-foiling, and seaplane tours over the archipelago. A Kids Club for ages 3–12 completes the picture.
