Tennis fans are descending on New York City for one of the sporting highlights of the year: the US Open, held at the USTA Billie Jean King National Tennis Center in Queens.

And this year’s tournament is already making headlines. The 2026 US Open will offer a record $108m in player compensation, a 20 percent increase on last year and the largest purse in Grand Slam history. Defending champion Carlos Alcaraz is also set to return to competitive tennis after four months out with a wrist injury.

For tennis fans planning on making the trip to New York this August, the excitement doesn’t have to end when the day’s play does. Some of the city’s top hotels are embracing US Open fever with a host of tennis-themed experiences, from VIP tickets and private lessons with tennis legends to dedicated tennis butlers, Honey Deuces, and even diamond tennis bracelets.

We’ve rounded up the best US Open hotels and suites to book.

The Mark

Nowhere in Manhattan does an occasion quite like The Mark. The storied Upper East Side hotel has unveiled The Mark Grand Slam Extravaganza, a $500,000, four-night experience taking place over US Open semifinals and finals weekend.

Guests will stay in The Mark Penthouse – reportedly the largest hotel penthouse in the US – and receive six tickets to the men’s semifinals and final at the US Open.

Keen players can have a private lesson with tennis legend John McEnroe, as well as a private sail aboard The Mark’s 70-ft Herreshoff sailboat. Dining experiences at Jean-Georges and Caviar Kaspia are also included, while a private chauffeur will be on hand throughout the stay, ferrying guests between Queens and the Upper East Side.

Lotte New York Palace

For one of the most sparkling US Open hotel packages, Lotte New York Palace has teamed up with jeweler Martin Katz for its $100,000 Game, Set, Sparkle Experience. The package includes a two-night stay in the hotel’s Jewel Suite by Martin Katz – a three-story residence measuring more than 5,000 sq ft and decorated with more than $1.5m worth of his jewelry. Guests will also have an in-suite consultation with Katz himself.

The access-all-areas experience continues with four tickets to the annual Palace Invitational, the hotel’s invitation-only pre-US Open celebration, an exclusive event that has previously welcomed sporting stars including Serena Williams, Taylor Fritz, Matteo Berrettini, and Caroline Wozniacki.

And for the final flourish: a 12-ct diamond tennis bracelet by Martin Katz. Priced at $62,000, the sparkling memento reimagines the classic 84 round diamond tennis bracelet with a design inspired by the New York skyline.

The St. Regis New York

A favorite residence of tennis legends Venus and Serena Williams, The St Regis New York is getting into the spirit of the tournament with its Tennis Butler Experience. Created in partnership with Wilson, the service is designed to anticipate guests’ every need on and off the court – from complimentary overnight racquet re-gripping and re-stringing to tennis-shoe cleaning and professionally steamed match-day apparel.

To stay, we recommend the hotel’s Presidential Suite – a two bed, 3,000-sq-ft accommodation, with spacious living areas, and Art Deco interiors. Think: marble flooring, glass chandeliers, and a wood-paneled library.

Guests will be welcomed with an in-room assortment of goodies to keep them on top of their game, whether playing or spectating, including tennis balls, sunscreen, electrolytes, and energy bites. The tennis butler can even arrange shipping for guests’ rackets to and from the property and deliver Wilson demo rackets directly to the room.

Those keen to dress the part can also enjoy a shopping trip to Wilson’s flagship store via the hotel’s Bentley house car, and transportation to and from the US Open is, of course, available.

Park Lane New York

It was reported that the US Open sold $17m worth of Honey Deuces last year. One of the most famous cocktails in sport, the tournament staple is making its way from the USTA Billie Jean King National Tennis Center to Central Park South this summer, courtesy of Park Lane New York.

The hotel’s restaurant, Calvert’s, will be serving its take on the tournament cocktail, made with vodka, raspberry liqueur, lemonade, and the signature honeydew-melon tennis-ball garnish. So, whether you’re calming nerves with a pre-Open drink, or if not headed to Queens but still wanting to embrace the excitement, you can enjoy the tournament’s signature serve – in the iconic Honey Deuce glass – overlooking Central Park.

And for those with a sweet tooth, there will also be a themed in-room dessert inspired by the tournament: a tennis-ball-shaped vanilla cake, making for a suitably photo-worthy celebration.
